each photo is a kind of a time machine - it can deliver us to the past and remind about long forgotten events and sensations.

We're inviting you to take part in the 2023 Photochallenge that will go on till December 3, 2023. All participants* will be rewarded with camera-wielding userheads.

There's a thingy in your settings - it seems you've minimized your blog's appearance in the search. Take a look here:

When you hit 'post' to create a new entry, between the icon and the subject line there's a huge box that says,

"Photochallenge
Take part in the LiveJournal photochallenge and try the new LJ Photo service

Join"

...and there's no way to dismiss it. No X in the corner or a checkbox to say, "I'm not interested."

Would you kindly submit a screenshot? The only prompt I happen to remember is the one on the side of the screen, but it doesn't hinder any actions.
