I remember the part when after the wolf ate LIttle Red Riding Hood it got sick. Red's father burst into the room and was about to shoot the wolf when Red's Grandmother stopped him and went over to where the wolf lay and cut open the wolf's gut and out popped Red protected by the Red Cape that she made for her. Just saying ...

Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. ...In fact, ANYTHING by Shel Silverstein (The Giving Tree made me cry; A Light in the Attic and Falling Up). When I have children, they will be introduced to him as well. :)
