Came back from studying with Barney to discover Merlin had taken it on himself to help me with my Potions homework. There are lovely little teeth marks all over my assignment that's due tomorrow morning. I suppose I should rewrite the thing because Snape is scary and I haven't anything else to do.Jack sent me a lovely drawing he did of Lu and I so ( Read more... )

Talk without blushing. Talk without blushing. It is really okay. Cecy is a friend.

I am sorry about the Potions homework, Cecy. And that's very nice of your brother. You and Lucy are very sweet to him.

Why are they saying that? It's just going to get people angry at them and start conflicts. Moreover, it's not at all fair to write things off that way.

Thank you, Chris. That's what I get for having such a naughty cat. And as for Jack, he's lovely so it's easy to be nice.

I don't know. I hate it. I just... wish they'd stop. It's like they're trying to make Ced's death what happened less important.

I try to understand it from their point of view - but I can't. How could you not want something to happen so badly you'd be prepared to ignore evidence? Or what Professor Dumbledore and Potter are claiming?

And if Cedric were here, he would refuse to stand it.

I suppose they're all scared. But... it's no excuse, really. And it's not fair to Cedr-- his memory.

It's better to rewrite it, yes, as I doubt Snape accepts the old "my dog cat ate my homework" excuse, even when it's true. Look on the bright side, though - rewriting it is better than having to do it all over again.

No, I didn't think he's appreciate it. And, I'm not terribly upset about that, I just wish the cat would learn to behave himself.

How are you, Nicky?

How, I'm okay. I feel like I've returned to my childhood, since I seem to be surrounded by first-years most of the time, but that's okay. You?
