Well, the Quidditch teams have been allowed to reform, it seems. That's good.

It was kind of a mean thing to do to disband all the student organisations in the first place. Why would she want to go and make so many people angry? Including people who aren't typically very angry? It kind of defeats the purpose of what she told Davies about getting ( Read more... )

Unless she wanted to unite them all in anger? She strikes me as more silly than unpleasant in that regard. You'd think she'd want to win people over, not serf them. Hasn't history taught her anything?

It was my pleasure. I'm sorry you were accosted by Tracey Davis, though. Well, more amused than sorry. But you poor thing.

No, sorry. Maybe he had a Patrol?

But uniting them in anger seems so... unnecessary and negative. I don't know-- it's all very distressing, the way she's creating so many conflicts between herself, the staff, and various students. I can't understand why anyone would want to do that.

Tracey Davis is kind of... er, hyper. I'm sure she's a nice person, but she's just got this really strange habit of sneaking up on me and hugging me. I don't get it.

Maybe. Hannah Abbott seems to be missing too. So it must be some sort of Prefect thing.

Yes. I'm very relieved. I don't want to imagine what some of my housemates would be like without Quidditch to distract them.

Well, I'm really glad that your team got permission to reform. It was horrible that it got disbanded in the first place. I hope they didn't upset you too much over it.

I don't understand why it happened. Actually, I do. But that's something I can't talk about. I can see her reason of promoting unity, as Quidditch does seem to bring out nasty rivalries in a few people. But as for giving Slytherin permission to reform before all the other houses? I am not saying this as a criticism of those players, who are merely victims of circumstance, but that was highly unfair.

It's much easier to hold a conversation when NOT face to face. Must remember that. Must also remember that she cannot see me blush when communicating via journal, and therefore try NOT to blush.

But having team sports encourages people to work together with each other, and... well, not all of the Quidditch players from all the teams seem like bad sorts. You seem like a nice person. And I don't think you have any nasty rivalries with anyone else, do you? Oh God oh God oh God... Perhaps she likes the people on the Slytherin team the best? And not all of them are bad people, I guess. But really, it's still unfair.

I think the old toad just wants to suck all the joy out of students' lives. Thankfully the other teachers went right over her head on this one.
