Hmm my favorite nextgen girl might be Lily. I love how in fics she's the one most people come to her with their problems or she's there to provide help if someone needs it. I'd like to think that there is a bit of mischievous about her that her brothers don't have making her the best choice for Slytherin. ^^

Okay. Well. Um. I think I'll go with Scorpius Malfoy. While there are various reasons to like all the nextgen kids, I'm going with Scorpius because he's interesting to me to write because of his place in the future of the Malfoy family, and the possible ways his relationship with his father can be portrayed, based on the various ideas of how Draco changed or didn't after the war. There are a lot of nextgen kids who can be interesting for similar reasons, but I chose Scorpius because 1) he is, as far as anyone knows, an only child and thus has no competing siblings and 2) because of the added complexity of Draco. (I can't separate the nextgen kids from their parents' pasts... it's impossible, because the past is going to have an effect on these kids ( ... )

Lily Luna is my favorite girl, at least currently, but that's solely because a version of her popped into my head who is SO LOUD it's hard to hear anything else around her. The one in my head is a complete imp.

Choosing a girl is difficult also but for completely different reasons. I don't have a really clear muse for any of the girls. I'll have to go with Rose because she's likely the one I'm most interested in reading and writing. I have some headcanon for her and I ship her in a few different scenarios. I also love Hermione and while I don't think Rose is exactly like her mother, I can see them having similar qualities.

I honestly don't have a favourite of the girls, though again, if I have to choose, it would probably be Ron and Hermione's daughter Rose. I imagine that she would be a handful, lol (and not in a bad way).
