Lovely, lovely. Sam's voice is great, and Daniel's, and, hell everyone's. I love the idea of this future. Not perfect, but the team still the team, just older. :)

Aw, thank you! I do love the idea of the team staying together, in their own ways, growing older and changing, but still thinking of each other as family.

Even though you killed Bra'tac (sniff, sniff) and made me tear up, I adored how it showed the team aging, together, yet unchanged in how they feel about each other. So perfect that Sam can't make the reporters listen - people were never her strong suit. ;-)

Although I do like to imagine Gen Jake Carter, General Hammond, and Bra'tac hanging out together in the afterlife and watching the press release in amusement...

Oh, Sam--it's really such a bad idea to have her be the person who has to talk to reporters! :) I'm glad you like the story! And I love the idea of Jacob, George, and Bra'tac chilling together for eternity!

Oh, I'm so glad you like the story! I'm glad you get a little bit of the sadness behind the fact that it's full-circle and that Sam really can't be the one to tell this story.
