When I was less busy at work, I'd be able to spend lots of times organizing my schedule for SDCC or NYCC. But it sounds like this coworker prioritized that over actual work...

Unfortunately, she definitely has her priorities backwards. She always brags about having the biggest/most difficult vendors, but if she were actually on top of it instead of spending work time on other things she might see that it really isn't as difficult as she says. But then she would have nothing to spend 2 hours a day complaining to everyone else about. Pros and cons, I guess.

How does that co-worker keep her job with that bad of customer service?

I hate explaining other people bad swearing when the customer hears it.  Its mortifying!

They are suuuuuper bright. One of my coworkers came in today wearing a hat with a big brim to shade her eyes, hahaha.

Our boss is way too nice, and the coworker always tries to be "besties" with her, so I think it basically guilts our boss into letting her stay. The whole "I don't want to fire my nice friend" thing.
