I'm back in Maui today after a brief sojourn to the big island of Hawaii. I met up with an old publishing associate, Marcus, on the beach who invited me to stay with him for a few days at the King Kamehameha Club. Leave it to you, Ngila, to buy little clothes for Peng - what a brilliant idea! I think I'll get him a little kilt.

I'm so glad that you're there to keep them company and enjoying it yourself. I might be able to get there by the weekend of the 10th; I don't suppose you'll still be there? It would be splendid to see you again!

Billy, I'm considering staying in Hawaii indefinitely. Ham is driving me batty so we've decided to take a break & I'm just loving the islands. I'm thinking perhaps I'll start looking at real estate some time next week. I'll be hard pressed to find a property as nice as Dom's / yours *serious home envy*.

I can't wait to see you. Don't stay away too long.
