The wait continues. Scott and I found a quiet place for most of the day and chilled as we waited. Now they have requested us to move to a smaller space, with less windows and less sunlight. Surgeries must be wrapping up as other families begin to arrive. This space is too small! Only word we have gotten is that "she is off the pump". I see this as ( Read more... )

Old man winter and Mother Nature are having fun screwing with us. Warm temps and cold nights are great though for an awesome sap season. Many sugar houses are steaming away and I suspect that sugar on snow may be an event soon. I am going to make HOMEMADE pancakes with fresh maple syrup tomorrow for the ambulance crew ( Read more... )

well I have a new winter sport. Its easy and I always win! Simply I get out of bed early to let the dog out, feed the cat and a couple other simple errands. But I wear little to no cloths which allows my surface temp to drop. After completing these simple projects I then run and drive back under the covers and immediately snuggle up behind Scott. Ever been swimming in a cool lake in June. Suddenly you feel a strong warm current of water. Abnormal temp for the season. Or very warm water in July. That is what the weather has been like here. Abnormally warm for the season, mother nature has been quiet the tease. We will se what the up coming week brings.

What a wonderful snow! I arrived at work early to jump into the snowplowing. It was dark, trees saturated with snow. No one around, I began plowing and push loads of snow back.
