trip to raleigh

i went home with annie last weekend. two weeks ago i had never been to north carolina before. now i've been to two different cities; asheville and raleigh. lovely state.

Did you go to South of the Border? I was so excited when we stopped, until I realized that it all smelled like pee and the candy was stale. Lame. Lurvly photos, by the by.

we didn't actually go. i thought the billboards for it were so funny. like this one that said, "you never sausage a place!" i would imagine it smelling like pee. it looks kind of scary.

When I was a youngin and my family went to the beach in north carolina and myrle beach( from virginia), if we passed a south of the border sign my brother, sister and I would all sing/yell "South of the Border! South of the Border!" there is like a billion of those, so i am sure it annoyed my dad.
