Five costumes worn to the SGC Halloween Party
1. Sergeant Siler walked in the first year of the program wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants, holding a giant plastic donut in one hand and a six-pack in the other. Jack knew immediately they were going to get along.
2. Even two full months after the show was pulled off the air, SG-13’s appearance as the cast of Wormhole X-treme was a roaring success. SG-1 was not so amused, although Jack had to admit, Major Dixon as Monroe was… memorable.
3. Frasier never did admit how exactly she convinced Carter and Daniel to dress up as Dr. Bunsen and Beaker - and they refused to ever speak of it again - but Jack will be keeping those pictures for a long, long time. Oh, yeah.
4. After the year they were all Backstreet Boys, the year they went as the Blue Man Group, and the year they all came as pirates, everyone was generally inured to inexplicable costume choices from the nursing staff. No one asked too many questions about the unidentifiable theme that somehow involved Hawaiian shirts, brown coats, and a heck of a lot of ordinance. (And at what toy store did they find that many plastic grenades, anyway?)
Teal’c’s participation, however, was a first, and his almost alarmingly tight pants did raise a few eyebrows.
5. No one knew what exactly the terms of the highly publicized bet between SG-3 and SG-10 were, and it wasn’t until the party that anyone realized that SG-3 had lost. In fact, both teams had been so quiet about it for the last three weeks or so that, until the grand entrance, pretty much everyone had forgotten about it.
Jack had no idea who on SG-10 was sadistic enough to think Reynolds and his men dressed as the Village People would be funny, but as it turned out, they were absolutely right.
