Agito was...well I feel like it's strongest at the start, but gets caught up in the characters' melodrama for a bit too long there in the middle. And while I enjoyed Shoichi and Hikawa interacting, the other character melodrama bits got on my nerves (yeah, there was some yelling at people to just talk to each other already). So I'm gonna have to agree with you in wondering why it would get referenced as one of the best KR series ever.
