What a heartbreaking story. That would be among the worst ways Kurt could've lost his beloved mother, and to have to witness it...and to have that physical reminder. *shudders*.

Loved it. Excellently angsty, and love the Kurt/Finn brotherly love moment.

Oh my God... you're trying to break my heart, aren't you? This story was so beautifully written from beginning to end, and I loved the family dynamic you had going on. I have to ask, though, do you watch Criminal Minds? There was an episode recently where something similar happened, with a man raping a woman and leaving one family member alive. (It was the season finale with Tim Curry, if that helps.)

I've only ever seen one episode of Criminal Minds, and I'm pretty sure it was one where somebody was buried alive.

So no, I have not seen this episode. :)

also, in the middle of it, I realized that a scar could be the reason for kurt's always wearing a shawl or sth :)
and I liked the kurt-finn-brotherly moment there , too :)
