Today was cold and miserable. I struggled through the day, but managed a lunch time walk/run/slide round my normal route, and then felt better!

I spent time with my Mum in her nursing home this weekend. It's been a brutal, painful, year long journey, watching her disappear. And it's hard in the moment to remember her as she was, my darling Mum ( Read more... )

I missed the 3 Kings cake today, as I travelled to the UK today. Patrick and I had one at Caroline's last weekend, and she found the King! I was deeply jealous, I never get the small plastic King, or the crown!

However, I did pay 75p for the smallest mince pie ever, so there was that :-)
