I've decided that while I very much enjoy clicking on little hearts next to posts and reliving fun Arashi moments, overall TUMBLR is very solitary for me. It's a place to put things I like, track things I like, etc. but it's not a social experience. I post something and then I get a bunch of notes that don't say anything D: And no one is liking me

I really loooove Sherlock. I think it does an amazing job of bringing Sherlock Holmes into the modern world, while still being a bit... weird! It has a great cast and atmosphere.

Elementary, on the other hand, feels American in the way it handles the plot? So it's still good, great even, but has an entirely different tone (and not just because Watson is a woman - Lucy Liu is fantastic!).

I get your reasoning, btw. I will probably start watching Hannibal in April just because it has Hugh Dancy in it! LOL

Ahhh, I see. I love the Sherlock Holmes books/stories even more than the shows. LOL. I just love Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's writing style. And the characters are great!

Ahaha I totally get you about the shows where everyone makes you angry. But I usually stop when it gets bad enough. ;D

I still need to get started on Elementary one of these days. The backlash from the Sherlock fandom because OH NOES FEMALE WATSON was so embarrassing. I like the BBC Sherlock so long as I ignore the Internet/fandom aspect of it.

I've watched the first series of Miranda. I need to watch more. It's cheesy and silly and I still enjoy it.

Do you watch Once Upon a Time? It's also cheesy and silly but the costumes are fun :)

Yeah, I'm starting to pick up on the fact that fandoms were being immature, mostly on the Sherlock side with some retaliation from Elementary. All in all that is the dumbest thing ever and I'm glad I never joined the Sherlock fandom so much as loved the show. ♥

Yessss! I made a horrible mistake D: I was watching Series 1 of Miranda and got two episodes in, and then somehow managed to skip to Series 3 and finish it out. Whatever source I was using... yeah. So I finished the show LOL But it was great!

You know, I only watched a few episodes in Season 1 and then was annoyed by the plot dragging. But I'm sure I could get into it again if I made the time!

I have that same thought with Tumblr. I love it for looking at graphics, but I don't see it as a social site much at all.

And omg, Miranda is one of my favorites, I just laugh so much whenever I watch that show! And hmm, check out The Mindy Project if you haven't already, I think that one's pretty funny, too.

Right? I can see reblogs of posts where people are discussing things, but even then it seems like... it's not a back and forth? Because that would require reblogging the same thing over and over and over. LOL. They do have the ability to add commenting on tumblr but I've not seen anyone use it!

Ooo! Okay! I like Mindy Kaling so it could be a good addition to my tv lineup. :)

It's funny that you should mention N'sync and Backstreet Boys in the same sentence cause my friends and I would have fights/arguments on which group was better. Obviously it's the same now with Arashi and other Johnnys (that I don't really care about *cough *cough)

As far as show's I don't really know what you like and It's kinda old (not really) but i am obsessed, obsessed with Supernatural. Seriously the best show I've watched in a long time. Once upon a time is of course awesome, Revenge (obsessed too) and Nashville is surprisingly...surprising :)

And Weekends are awesome, aren't they?

Ahahah! Luckily I never got into fights because my friends were only ever *Nsync fans. I just liked Backstreet in seekrit! I think you can be fans of lots of Johnny's groups, right? Right now Arashi is my numero uno, but I like songs and shows of some of the other groups as well. *nod*

I hear a lot about Supernatural and how much I would like it and I have yet to try it. Maybe it is finally time! I've been nervous about getting sucked in. :D

YES! They are beautiful. Especially 3 day weekends!

MIRANDAAAAAA. I just finished it and am rewatching again omg. Also Elementary. So GREAT. It's be getting better and better recently. And the characterssss. I loved Sherlock, until the fandom spoiled it for me. But I'm still gonna wait for Season 3 cause that's gonna be awesome :D

HM Movie suggestions. I really enjoyed Chonmage Purin with Nishikido Ryo. Also... Oh yes! I finished The Unusuals with Jeremy Renner? It's surprisingly very good. Hysteria the movie is also super delightful. I use this to keep track of the movies I watch. It's brilliant :D Ooh also fell in love with Band of Brothers. It's SO GOOD. I could go on and on and on, so I should probably just stop now.

Thankfully I avoid fandoms for television shows. I haven't had anything ruined for me. :D I'm really enjoying Elementary! Not horribly surprised I do like it though because C'MON THIS CAST!

Of course I've seen Hysteria! Hugh Dancy was in it he is my ultimate fave! It was actually really fun. But I haven't seen Band of Brothers yet. I don't know what I'll feel about that because I don't tend to like war-time stuff.
