i kinda agree - some of the shit posted here is unneccesary, like "here is a photograph i thought was artsy but it looks like crap with no composition whatsoever," which is why i never post! maybe you guys could revise the rules, or moderate the entries. if moderation gets troublesome, get a few mods just to review the entries and see if they are worthwhile. or, maybe i don't know what i am talking about. :)

entries actually are moderated, although not with a lot of consistency (unfortunately). really i think we're all kind of sick and tired of dealing with it.

sorry, i know that now! i understand being sick of dealing with it, it is a huge community which obviously means different strokes for different folks, so i can see why the purpose of the community is blurred. i really just don't understand why the posts are even moderated if you guys don't stop the stuff you think is irrelevant, or "what it's about. thanks for making and maintaing the community for this long, which i don't think anyone has said yet! just one more suggestion - don't delete it, just close it, so everyone can still see some of the good posts, y'know

That's lame. I think you should re-write the rules so it's more clear, because not everyone thinks the same things are nice. Like, flowers are nice, but variety is nice too.
