As much as I would like to claim responsibility for anything you think of me, darkness, I did not purchase this animal. I would have bought a kitten with fur as black as ebony, eyes as blue as a syringe needle, nose as pink as newly-scarred flesh. This creature is none of those things.

I do hope young Renfossil hasn't been taking walkies uninstructed. That would be ever so bad.
