There's been a strange video posted to the community, Mr. Nick. I didn't watch it, but I know other people have, and I talked to the person who posted it and I think that she might be some sort of spirit. The video... there's something horribly wrong about it, Mr. Nick! It's like a very malevolent spiritual presence is around it. I can't shake the feeling that something awful will happen because of it.

I think that that's a very strong possibility. But I haven't got any way of knowing for sure, so I was hoping someone could give me more information...

There are different ways. Why are you asking? Do you need a counter-curse?

I'm not sure. You see, I'm not even completely sure if the thing I'm talking about does have a curse attached to it, but I think it's a very big possibility. I definitely sensed some very powerful malevolent spiritual energy around it. So I thought it would be best to get some more information about it first!

I'm not sure. The one I'm thinking of might be attached to a video, if it really is a curse.

I doubt it. A curse would last for a long time, and it has a purpose. Rotten magic is just there; it stinks, it lashes out with no mind, and it infects whatever it touches. Curses require thought and planning; bad magic is just there.

Gods, I haven't felt that unnerved since...for years.

Oh, I see. That makes sense. But then isn't a curse just a type of bad magic that has a lot of planning put behind it?

There's a powerful malevolent spiritual presence around that video, so that might be why. I can't help feeling that something awful is going to happen because of it.

Oh no, I don't want to learn any curses! It's bad form for a spirit medium to know how to perform those properly. I just want to learn about them so that I can figure out what to do about that strange video.
