At my house in Lansing we had one frequently come to perch in the maple out front, or on the deck railing. Our neighbor was a bird fanatic and had four or five feeders in her yard ... a veritable falcon buffet.

Peregrine Falcon's are one of the most vicious bird of preys you can get :)

I've not seen wild ones but only those used for hunting. Where I used to live you'd often see Ospreys, sparrow hawks, kestrels, owls etc.
