Yep, I've finally moved away from Germany. It was a really stressful time getting everything ready before moving and now I've got the same to look forward to now I'm back in England... sigh! Was speaking to my Mum today and I learned that a former work colleague had died. I worked with him from 1989-1996 but saw him several times after that period. He was only 55. I've lost several friends/colleagues over the years and it always reminds you that we're not here forever and that we should try and make the most of our lives. At times ( Read more... )

I was told yesterday that I had a job interview.... TODAY in Bielefeld, which is in the north west of Germany. So I travelled up by high speed train (ICE) yesterday and stayed overnight in a fairly nice hotel. Then today I got psyched up and went for my interview.
