I'm writing again, which is good.
I'm also starting to see things that aren't there, which is less good.

I just read the first four pages of A Cup of Comfort for Teachers and I was almost crying from the beauty and sadness and sublimity of it all. I remarked aloud for the silence in my room and the attentive modules in my head, "God, I am just the worst cynic... ever."
