I actually was able to keep my dad interested in the Home-run Derby tonight. My dad is not a sport's fan, especially baseball. So either he was humoring me, or...well it doesn't really matter, I was able to watch it. He was pretty excited that he got to see Tejada break 2 records, which was pretty amazing in it's own right. Idealism is generally a good thing. However, there has to be a degree of practicality to it as well. While, abstinence would be the most efficient way to combat the AIDS epidemic, the situation needs to be approached more rationally. People are going to have sex. I got a $40 ticket for a parking violation in Long Beach. I'm not a serial parking law violater...this was my virgin run in with the powers that be of parking.
