The villa was RAD. There is a 2m depth pool, as evidenced in the below photo. They come and cook you whatever breakfast you want, at whatever time, in your villa, and then you can ring up and have them take the dirty dishes away when you're done.
The room service food includes someone coming round with a huge portable bbq with the day's fresh catch ( Read more... ) -

Oh yeah so we did book the four star Bali resort for next weekend. The promotional video has a line 'Why not let us run you a candlelit rose petal bath?' - well why not indeed. Our private villa comes with our own chef and housekeeper, pool and is a snip at £50 per night..

I'm writing this on a lazy Sunday afternoon having just got out of the pool and sitting with a Bintang and a cigarette. Bintang is the local lager, about 80p a can from the 7-11, so something like corner shop prices I guess. You can get beer for £1 a can from the corner shop at home right? So, we booked a weekend on a 'beautiful desert island' - did you know that Indonesia is made up of 18,000 islands, only 1000-odd of which are inhabited? - I was only really looking for some snorkelling and a bar. Ideally a wet bar, but I'm not fussy!

Currently cooking a roast (slightly burnt) pork belly INCLUDING ROAST POTATOES which is traditionally hard since everything needs different times and temperatures. Potatoes are still cooking, pork has finished resting and is in danger of getting cold, and the
