I had heard about it, but didn't realise there was still some time left. Hmm, wonder if I can leave work early...

Trouble is, it may be heartbreaking to see all the broken books :(

Actually, I bet there are a lot of people fuming, cos one thing they offered was that they'd take your old books, put them online, and if they sold pay you for them, so some of those books kind of belong to other people. Glad we didn't do that.

Ouch! I hadn't thought of that - it seems like a bad way to deal with it, tbh, but I guess the warehouse owners just wanted shot of them.

I sent that link to my colleagues who are all suitably horrified by the sight of people walking over books ;-)
