The best analytical stream of consciousness article ever! (I have to read them all the time :( I know! ). You certainly got my hopes up! ;)

The white sundress was just brilliant, I never looked at it from this POV before. If the wedding is (fingers crossed) Barney and Robin's, the show completes the circle and everything will be in order.

Thank you! I'm usually much more scatterbrained, but somehow everything came out quite nicely this time :P

Everything you said is sooo true and and makes a whole lot of sense... but like you, I'm just way scared to get my hopes up in the case that it isn't Barney and Robin getting married, and rather, it's them and someone else, breaking my shipper heart for all eternity... T_T (I say this because I RARELY ship canon, so this is one rare shot I have of a canon ship come to fruition)

Yeah, shipping canon sucks sometimes haha. The only actual time I've ever shipped a couple that wasn't the least bit canon is in Harry Potter - and that's due solely to HP fanfic writers. But like I said up there, I've been burned SO many times...I'm just SO NERVOUS GAAAHH...:)

Wow, I feel the same way! (Sawyer/Kate? I'm never gonna get over that, seriously. WORST FINALE EVER).
SKate was my OTP before I started watching HIMYM. But when I saw Barney and Robin... they're gonna be my OTP forever and ever. So if they don't end up together, my shipper heart won't recover. He won't love other ship with so much passion as it does now.

IT HAS TO BE THEIR WEDDING!

First thing: I LOVE YOUR ICON. It's kind of perfect for this post haha.
Second: Yeah, NEVER going to recover from the Sawyer/Kate thing. IT REALLY HAS TO BE THEIR WEDDING.

Even if it isn't, they'll still have 2 seasons to get together. And the third wheel (in this case the 4th one too!) is just for building the suspense. Like with Ross and Emily in FRIENDS!

But, you know. They gave us hints an the beginning of the season, and kept them apart after that.... that's a little suspicious!!!

For me, the problem lies elsewhere. I don't want them to get together FINALLY and then "they lived happily ever after". I want to watch them together on the show. They're great just sitting beside each other!! let alone playing laser tag!!!

I am with you completely on this theory. Barney/Robin wedding makes the most sense storytellingwise, and if that's the endgame, then I can happily watch while Barney does his Nora thing and Robin has her whatever with MT because we know those relationships are temporary and a necessary step to get to the Stinson/Sherbatsky nuptials, which will be awesome ( ... )

EXACTLY! Just, exactly.

(outside of maybe casting the greatest actor ever born, who trained years for this particular puprose *and* everybody's tv is emitting mind control rays)

HAHA - OH yes. Yeah, general audiences have not had enough time with Nora/MT to really care about their character arc. I know above I left out and Option Four of it being Punchy's wedding, or some other random person - but that would make even less sense than a Barney/Nora wedding. It kind of makes me laugh/sad that some people still think it's Punchy's wedding...yes, they are going to slowly build towards Punchy's wedding for the next couple seasons...HAHAHA.

Definitely will see you at the gun-shy shippers support group. It's not fun.It really, really is not. In most cases I'm fine with it because there's so much awesome fic ( ... )
