Information given to a pregnant lady is vast indeed. There are several trees worth of leaflets given while she is pregnant and a great deal more once baby arrives. Leaflets on feeding, health, dads involvement, free fruit milk and vitamins and of course infant sleep.

Baby stuff you don't need
Having a baby, you suddenly become a target for many companies who know you want the best for your child. They want to 'make your life easier' and will charge you plenty for the privilege. Soon to be a third time mum, I am sceptical about what we actually need for the baby. Here is a list of things we won't be wasting our money on!

Well it's a new year, 2012 is here and my big boy is three next week. Three! He's been planning his birthday party since October. He wants a bouncy castle, robot cake with candles on top. I have wrapped up 21 little presents for him and 20 of his little party guests. He's going to love being the birthday boy and hes going to love being three. From

I'm rh neg which means if I were to have a rh + baby I might struggle with further pregnancies. Both my babies have been rh - and so is my dear husband but I still took the shot of anti-d during pregnancy. Harveys new game: stalling bedtime!
Here is what he tried this evening-
After brushing his teeth, he asked to do it again!
On nappy change he ran off. When I found him he asked to go on the toilet which let to him washing his hands and drying them.
He ran off when I produced pjs.

Harvey's first words
It's amazing how much little Harvey can understand/communicate at only 16 months old. He understands simple clear instructions eg 'Go and get your shoes from your bedroom.' and 'Give mummy a kiss' etc. He also makes himself very clear through simple words/sounds/signs. An update on our BLW journey!
Our little H is already 14 months old! How time is flying by! I still (to the horror of HVs everywhere) breastfeed him on cue and he takes milk about three times during the day and every 2 hours at night. As I am now pregnant, the milk is drying up especially with the frequency of night feeding so he sometimes just has water and back rubs in the ( Read more... ) -
Dipping!
Harvey now has a very rough grasp of how to dip a spoon and load it himself! I didn't even really teach him he just grabbed his spoon and loaded it with ice cream at the wedding last week. Approaching One Year Old!
H was ever so poorly with broncialitus. He started early in the week and by Thursday was suffering with a high temperature and struggling to breath.
