I have a sponsored account on lj, just so i can put photos straight on! I hate the ads, but it's worth putting up with them for the ease of uploading photos!

Mine has ads, so does that mean I can do this? If so, how?

when you make a post to lj, if you choose the html tab at the top of your box, there should be an insert image thing on the top left of the box. Click on there and choose image from file, browse.

You then choose which photo you want, click upload and wait! A funny long written code appears in your text, which magically becomes a picture when you post.

Ah yes, I see, you wait and wait and wait... I'm sure this didn't used to be possible without a paid account, so thank you. I shall experiment and see which method is least tedious.

I do it by uploading one at a time by using insert picture thing and then browse to find it on my pc - but it still takes forever and I hate doing it!

Which is why I use pbase (www.pbase.com) and then upload to there and link from here if there are loads - and I must do last weekends soon before I forget where they all were.
