i feel like an idiot. i hate feeling like an idiot. I cant imagine anyone enjoys feeling this way. i feel like everything is on fast forward. i see that everyone is making a way for themselves, with work and interning and school etc. people are moving in, moving out, traveling and i am standing still. its not that i dont want to go. its that my feet are stuck in this very spot and i am dying to run ( Read more... )

above water as it is

im hoping on words from you.
but with that ill only let myself down,
not only because they wont be the words
i need to hear
or the words you want to say
but because you arent going to say them.

Now your heart wants an interview.
it scribbles madly on the monitor,
giving itself a polygraph test
and failing grandly,
proud that it lies.
it never thinks ahead.
You're its wrapper, its bathrobe
and it loves you deeply.
but it cant remember your name.

i keep saying write it down
but some things i just cant form words for.

The walk to and from my classes
is long and cold but suprisingly wonderful.
after a minute or so my whole body becomes numb
and it makes me feel real. so ill continue to walk.
suddenly im beginning to feel all upside down again
and im not sure how to adjust.
stop moving so fast so i can catch up.
