Everytime I make a nummy protein/yogurt/fruit smoothie for breakfast lately, and bring it in to work, the girls in production end up making delicious Mexican food for the production supervisors!! Yar! Just saying I'm still here. Life got kinda hectic for a while. OK that's not exaggerating. It got really hectic and really busy and I'm almost always tired. I think I got cheated out of summer, ergo I'm tired. I shall try to write here more often in the future though. I think I feel better when I journal!

I started losing my voice on Sunday night and by yesterday, it was mostly gone, but not so bad that I couldn't talk. Last Saturday I got in my car, planning to go to the credit union, and also to run a few errands and then back home. I did not expect when I turned my car on to see the "Service Engine Soon" light come on and stay on all the way to the credit union. Yeah, I know, some of you may have been wondering! Hopefully, I'll be patient enough to sit down at the computer tonight and do a little bit more so some of you can figure out what's going on in my life.... should anyone ever be interested in my life of so little consequence... (heh!)

So last night, I finally sat down at my computer and started writing my novel. Yes I did! I only managed to write about half a page, but I figured the effort was good enough. And now I can say I'm writing a novel for real!

I know it's standard practise with many many companies. I just hated being reminded yesterday about it. My hire date was December 4, OK? Which means that on March 4, I'll be elligible to enroll for health benefits. Benefits won't kick in till the first of the next month (April), which is four weeks after I become elligible!! ARGH!!!
