The company I tried working for this week claimed that I flipped out and demand the CEO be told that my lunch was missing. This is what they told the Temp Agency that got me the job. Whoa. OK so it turns out I've got quite a lot on my plate in spite of unemployment. Get this. Monday started with backing out of a parking spot... and someone else backing into me! Yes, I stopped and honked my horn. no, the airhead backing out didn't pay any attention to me honking and continued to back up and now I need my rear bumper repainted. ( Read more... )

Today was my last day at Eldorado Stone. It's okay that I've left, I guess. But I'm annoyed at the timing. I really didn't want to be let go over a month before the wedding day. Alright, this week I'm losing my current job. That would be OK if the timing didn't suck hosewater! I'd prefer a couple more weeks so that then, I could ride the severance pay all the way through the month of October, but now I think it'll only cover me till just shy of the wedding day.
