Adult ESL world

I love teaching adult ESL. I love the fact that I am not behind a desk, and I am hopefully helping someone to change their life in this country. I have immigrants, some legal and illegal, and refugees. Also, I get a sneak peek into people's cultures, and their lives. The sociologist,and traveler in me is most intrigues by my students. Wow, that is tough. I hope you get a FT position at ACC. Those bastards just make it so damn hard to get hired there! I got ANOTHER rejection notice just the other day from a job that I applied for months ago. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. It's one thing to love what you do, it's another thing to be responsible for helping to support your family. It's certainly tough all the way around.

Thanks! i have received about 30 rejected notices from ACC. It's laughable at this point.
Well, we should all get together soon.
