After much discussion and contemplating, I still cannot make a decision. I need to give two weeks notice to quit the deli job when I leave. My problem with working there is that I am making just over minimum wage, and even after asking him not to, he schedules me every weekday, which prohibits me from doing anything else. Soooooooo...

AND - to add to my vote - at a temp job you'll be able to look for something else too.

Or you could just temp for the next year.

I voted for option 2, but I'd say that it could work in tandem with option 1. As in, you go to the temp agency, and if they don't have anything stellar that's semi-permanent or likely to turn into long-term, you tell them you can only work 4 days a week, or will need one weekday off every two weeks, or something like that.
