Ugh...It's 5:30 a.m. and I can't sleep at all. I need to be up by 9:30 to go and unlock doors, too. Great. I was on duty this weekend and finally had my first incidents while on duty. So Lori and Brett decided to come and visit us today. They gave us our individual presents then our present to share. The group present was a picture of them by the ocean. Well I went and got ankle looked at today and it's pretty well healed. So now I got the boot off and I'm walking on it. It hurts like a mofo. The Dr was actually kinda upset that I just started putting weight on it. I knew the Marshall Dr was crazy when he told me to not put any weight on it. Dad's surgery went fine. He's now drugged and sleepy. Hopefully I'll be back in Nulm by Sunday.

You know what's sad....Watching a group of friends grow apart and you know exactly how to handle the situation but b/c of confidentiality issues you can't do a damn thing about it....Simple solution: TALK TO EACHOTHER!!! My residents have grown apart and it's gonna be a hellacious year...

Just found out last night that my dad has to have open heart surgery...I'm actually glad I found out last night cuz we had a fun staff retreat and it kept my mind off of it....So...That kinda sucks a lot....
