Hey, Guess What?

For those of you who are interested. I just became a Doctor (of Philosophy in Biochemistry). As far as I can tell, all this really means is that I can act really big around graduate students, preoccupy myself with tons of experiments in the future, and write out fake prescriptions for Vitamin C.

Oooh, I should get myself a prescription pad.

Congratulations, man!

Make the grad students call you Doctor now -- it'll put them in their place.

(oh, and I thought you didn't need a prescription to get Vitamin C...)

Alright, that's it! I'm writing you a prescription for a vitamin C-free diet. Talk to me again when you get scurvy!

(Yeah, I can't write prescriptions. But that doesn't stop people from asking me how much they should take.)

But at the risk of being a bit of a parade-rainer...have you submitted your diss to the grad school yet?

...doc?

Reports were that you sucked :)
I'll celebrate by opening a bottle of champagne (on sale these days at Casino supermarket) and dilute the vit C in my body.
