So, my disability was approved! Shocked, I had given up on it a couple of months ago. Thus I was able to pay off some bills, get caught up on others, and put in laminate wood flooring in my living room and hallway. I'm hooked, I wamt to see more. I like this sport. Too bad I live in Florida, but there are LOTS of ice skating rinks, so I guess there is hope. My son called me to let me know his disability from the VA was upped to 100% - that means 3100 a month for life plus free medical for him and his wife for life. Capt Phil is gone, so sad. He came out of the coma, started getting feeling back, was walking and talking and then...I found out at the library and just cried and cried. I find myself in a dilema. I put my husbands scooter up for sale on craigs list. I got one reply, first asking for mmore pix and then agreeing to buy it but wouldn't be able to pick it up right away. It's raining, summer showers seem to be a daily morning occurrence lately. I have adjusted to not working but I 'm still working on not getting a paycheck. I have a great tan this year, in part to spending several mornings a week at the beach. That's probably the best thing about not working. It has nothing to do with temperature, it was in the low 90's, but the sun was just sizzling hot, burning you right thru your clothes after only a few minutes. The pool was warm but lovely.
