Yesterday was full of craziness. I had my first day of interviewing downtown. I was doing it by myself after only watching twice and the second guy I got to interview was this totally gorgeous and really nice 5th year engineering major at Case. My mind is whirling. Katie knows the people at Cleveland State's GLBT office because she used to share an office with them. I met the one guy she knew from graduate student services at Pride on Saturday. Ok so weekend update. I went to Shabbas services on Friday night. I only got lost for a few minutes and I got there right on time. There were a lot more people than at the West Temple, which I liked because I could blend in more. Friday morning I got a call from East Tech (make that 4 calls) saying that I didn't leave them the information they needed on scholarships and that they needed the information by noon. Bastards. Matt and I had a chat yesterday about religion. He said he was glad he read my other entries because he realized that we look at religion completely differently. He said it looked to him that I'm looking for a place of spiritual belonging, when to him religion is a very private matter, which is why he disagrees with organized religion so much. So I guess you could say there have been some developments as far as my thoughts on converting to Judaism. Last Friday, instead of welcoming Shabbat in my room as I had been, I actually lit candles at the dinner table and had my wine at dinner with my family.
