Far too hot now. Cannot write full sentences: too hot. Only the second week of June and about 30 degrees. 36.7 with the humidex. All doors and windows open, same hot air going in and out. It's only 20 or so here, and it's too too hot. I like the 'plum juice drying in brown tears down her neck' - oh, summer all over. I cd cry. I can taste it!

20 degrees is only room temperature! it's perfect!

it's still hot today. my roommate said the humidex didn't drop below 29 Celsius overnight. wah, wah, wah, I am such a northern baby.

I like it (didn't realise it at the time) that you are tormenting yourself with written descriptions of heat while also enduring it yourself. There is something twisty about this. ;)

I can't stand the heat either. My body is sticky and my brain is mush. I don't think i can live in this city much longer. Once this degree is done i'm heading for a coast as fast as i can. That or, like, Iceland.

Speaking of degrees: How close are you to done? Will i see you around in the fall?

I remember that book as a mental torture! ....

(ok ok, I am French Canadian, so being forced to read that book was not a pleasant thing. But I like the movie they made. :) And the symbolism of the Green Light across the water...)
