What do you do each day that doesn’t contribute to your writing - and can you eliminate it?
I worry. I worry about getting the scenes in my fiction absolutely right. Rather than just writing. I need to just write. -

I really love this film. I love Jeff Bridges with *a passion*. I do not know why he hasn't received much more acclaim in film circles, as he is enjoyable in everything I've seen him in. merry christmas!
Christmas has always been my second favourite time of year (only second to Halloween, which is magical somehow). In Newfoundland, Christmas becomes a cozy place where you're tucked inside for a few weeks at a time, with the snow blizzards outside, venturing out only to visit good friends and watch films, or to gather a Tims coffee! Writer's Block: More Island Time
It would be really difficult to choose five books, but I'd have to look at my bookshelf for the most tattered books:
1. Lucy Maud Montgomery's 'The Blue Castle.' As far as I'm concerned, the characters in this novel lead the perfect life.
2. Stephen King's 'The Shining' or 'Desperation.' These are my two fave King books -- the ideal horror settings.

pyjamas
I have an obsession with pyjamas. It is a life long obsession which has only strengthened in my later years. Whenever anyone asks me what I'm doing over a weekend, or even Christmas, the answer is inevitably 'reading, in pyjamas.'
