Despite not having a lot of faith in people, the results of the election on Tuesday set the bar to a new low. I could rant and rave about how stupid and lacking in foresight the outcome was, but there really isn't a point. I've done my share of that in advance to the election. I watch not for Kerry's victory, but the defeat of Bush. The Taco Bell cactus would do about as good job as Kerry will (that might be a stretch), but he isn't Bush.

I went to see Interol with K. last night. Our tickets were for different sections of the venue, so we were separated. Once the concert was over we stood next to the buses for a long time, and at about 1 AM one of the Paramount's personnel (a little drunk, I might add) decided to let us backstage to meet the band.
