Nanowrimo 2007
Is finally finished. In 30 days I have written 51,118 words. It's the longest story that I've ever written and it's also the first multi chapter creation that I've ever finished ( Read more... ) -
Nanowrimo
So I hit 30,000 words today which pleases me immensely, especially since I've never written that much for a single story in my entire life. I have a problem when it comes to writing. My stories are dreamt up in scenes, I have a scene, vivid in my mind and slowly characters and a plot fill in the area around the scene and once that's happened it's a ( Read more... ) -

Because I am over my word count for the day and then curiosity struck...
See here's the thing. We all know the cliché's of fantasy. Magic stones, unicorns, jewels. They're something that we all recognise as being cringeworthy. So then I decided to check out fictionpress and see just how many of these cliché's abound.

Chapter 3 of Inversion is now up, it's not fully edited as i'm waiting for either Bex or Sofi to get back to me with some grammar and word errors that they will inevitably pick up.

Confused but relieved

Oh Shit.
So about an hour ago I wandered upstairs with my laptop, plugged it in and sat down to continue my work. The screen flickered. Dark to light to dark again. After recovering from a small heart attack I gave the screen a nudge and it settled down again. Glanced over everything and it seemed to be all fine so back to work ( Read more... )
