Well, its been a long time since I have updated (and hard to expect some other people to update if I don't) But yeah, I went to Upper Canada Village today, which was a lot of fun. Got to see people milking cows right up close and personal, and a chesse factory, and a wood mill, and all kinds of fun stuff. Its a lot like Louisberg but a lot less ( Read more... )

why did you just watch them milk cows? how come you didn't get in on the action? that's what i would have done.

I am sorry, just not something I would really want to start yanking on, they wern't the cleanest cows! (Clean cows, now thats a funny thought). Plus we got to Upper Canda an hour and a half before it was closing so we were in a huge rush, and I wasn't about to throw kids out of the way so i could yank on some Udders! COme on now!

It's funny to consider that back in those days, "Upper Canada" was Ontario, and "Lower Canada" was Quebec. Somebody's geography went askew there.

I think that someone's geography is still askew.... even today, "Eastern Canada" is Ontario and Quebec...

Darn, I blame all those bloody mistaken maps.... showing Nova Scotia as the far east of Canada.... we have to get that corrected. Everywhere.
