Confession time: I am woefully under-read in all of “Ultimate” version Marvel Universe, not just Spider-Man.  The fact that I still haven’t added a copy of the first volume of Ultimate Spider-Man omnibuses is a small piece of geek shame for me. I’ll admit it. I can be a sucker for clever comic covers. Sometimes it’ll be just a really good design, like Alex Ross’s Green Goblin that I mentioned way back in entry #6 or the more recently showcased alternate persona covers for Identity Crisis .
