I have been debating with myself over whether I should check out the Mirai Nikki manga or just stick to the anime. I realized I'm actually kind of really psyched for this series and waiting for a new episode to come out every week for the next few months seems like it's going to be difficult when I know that the source material is available to ( Read more... )

I've become thoroughly addicted to this show, and I could easily spoil myself by heading over to mangareader but that will destroy my anticipation for future episodes too.

Yet the anticipation is KILLING me. What to do?

So I just keep busy between episodes, and then after the show is fansubbed, I read the manga up to the end of the show.

Sometimes the manga fills in a couple of things (like interior monologue) and sometimes the anime improves on the narrative.

It's just so suspenseful and engrossing. *___*

I was thinking about reading the chapters that have already been covered in the show. I also have a feeling that the series would be slightly more palatable in manga form since the series relies heavily on text to get information across - I find myself having to pause whenever Yuki opens his phone in order to get the full effect of the story.

Aye I would recommend reading the manga up to the last episode. You'll enjoy the same story told in a different medium no doubt although I feel the anime does certain scenes better (that classic Yandere-crazed look Yuno gave Yuki at the end of episode is much better-- with more elegant lines, as if drawn by a superior artist) while your point remains valid all the same.
