The supplemental manga, Mirai Nikki Paradox answers some of your questions about Rei & Uuryuke Minene, the Ninth Diarist. I don't think it counts as a spoiler since the anime mostly adapts from the main source and the Paradox anime is chiefly about Ninth's story before she became a diarist and after she ran away from the school in episode 2.
I think u just might be onto something regarding the promise of resurrection. :)
:) The thing is, Yuno's ultimate goal is to be with Yuki. I don't see her just killing him, and I highly doubt she would let him kill her - she would definitely overpower him. She would need that assurance of their ending up together in order for her to allow either one of their deaths.
On a similar note, I am suspicious of what exactly Yuno's "Happy End" flag is. Sure, she says that's when they sleep together, but why would that be the end of the Yukiteru Diary? Unless her entire plan is to kill him then and eventually bring him back when she's a god. Even when I first saw it in the third episode, the "Happy End" flag just seemed to scream "murder" to me.
I dunno because Yuno Gasai is more of the obsessive Yandere type than the possessive type. The former is closer to a selfless bodyguard that will sacrifice herself for the beloved, while the latter is closer to a controlling freak that will kill the beloved if she cannot have him to prevent anyone else to have him.
