I realized it's been a while since I talked about fandom-y stuff, so I guess I'll talk about the last few episodes of Mirai Nikki before I settle down to watch Ep. 13.

i feel the same about murmur tbh. although she's annoyed me from the very start lol

ninth is beautiful and flawless and becoming one of my favorite fictional characters ever period~

have you read the manga bb? yuno's backstory is...well for me it was a bit hard to understand--actually the end of the series as a whole was hard to get, so i'm hoping that the show will translate it much better and really spell it out. but i agree that yuno's fascinating and i love her character just because of that.

I was sooooo sad because I look forward to this show every week and my week just feels incomplete without it. ;A;

She didn't annoy me so much at first, but I found that she became more and more grating as she got more screentime.

If anything, I'd say she's definitely the best character in the show thus far! ;)

I haven't. After I started watching the show, I found out that the completed manga was out and debated with myself whether I should read the manga or just stick to the show. I decided to go with the latter in order to give myself something to look forward to every week and to maximize suspense. I hope that, for my sake, the show translates the material well enough so that it's easier to understand!

i was gonna just watch the show, but one of my close friends that watches it with me read the manga after the first ep, and he kept urging me to read, so thanksgiving day i went ahead and read it the whole way through (i did sort of rush through, now that i think of it, so maybe that's why i had trouble understanding a lot!), but i honestly think the show is gonna do a fine job. i'm liking the show better than i liked the manga. they're being very clever handling characters.

I'll take your word for it. :) I did skim a few pages, and it seems apparent to me that the art is much better in the show at least, which I think helps the tone of the show overall. Yuno's creepy!face is definitely creepier at the end of the first episode than at the end of the first chapter, simply because of the way it's drawn.
