i'm back

again i walk the busy corridors,

with a vague direction:

left, right, second floor, door on your left.

again i am calm and composed,

holding mum's hand in her mind,

and inside i scream and cry and hope.

again it hurts,

again i say nothing,

again i smile.

i've seen so many eyes

and although they may be alive,

there's always an intensity,

a spark,

whatever you want to call it,

missing.

i think i saw it in mine once,

as a child,

but i stopped looking.

someone reignited my hope and trust,

and now i see again.

and all i see is what i look at.

and i see his spark,

and i see ours together.

it's the strangest feeling
i have found this thing
this glorious thing
and it completes me
it makes me whole
and i love him

learn to accept change
learn from your mistakes
learn new ways to acomplish things
learn to accept others and their beleifs
learn to learn

i never tire of it
but some things
i beleive
should never be encountered
unless you have the mindset
to accept them
learn from them
and ultimately evolve from them

i read other people's writing
and the meanings are apparent
fancy words in place of the obvious
live a little i guess

maps with crayons
details bold and waxy
seems to me to be society
remember, they melt in the sun
