Yeah, I think I will be "Dane's ex" for a while.
I was just on the phone with JR and I overheard someone in the background say, "Oh I know Nikki, Dane's ex."
I find it funny that with all his friends I was always "Dane's girl" rather than "Nikki" as though I didn't have my own identity outside of him.

nah, dude. in cases of multiple people, so far as the choice between "i" and "me," you have to look at the sentence in question and remove the second person. since the sentence reads "I hate that we were that "it" couple I hate that when I go to my 10 year reuninon people will probably still be talking about him and I," removing it would say that people are going to talking about i, which doesn't work anywhere outside of jamaica. also, if you remove the first person, it would say people are going to be talking about he, which doesn't work anywhere outside of the middle ages.
