So today I found out another couple I set up is getting married. I don't know what it is, but since my teens I have set up an insane amount of couples, and usually they are the ones that lasted years (if they didn't go further than that). Maybe, in our old age, we're all just getting desperate, anxious, weary, and therefore just settling.

Also, maybe we're living in a conservative age where there's a backlash against all the separations, divorces and so on! A move back to good old tradition. Bush is way more conservative than Eisenhower and look what the 50s churned out. Who would of thought! Horror!

My biggest fear and annoyance in the human race is how many people settle. I would never in my life settle. I'm not saying all these women I know are settling...but at ages 20-24 I still am a little shocked.

I wonder how long their marriages will last.

Just about everyone I went to high school with has a child and/or has been married, divorced, etc.
