My favorite thing about Seattle

My very favorite thing about living in Seattle is that it is 9:54 pm, and it is just now dusk. Every summer, I feel so lucky to be here.

I stayed up late last weekend reading, and noticed it was getting light at 4 am. I went to sleep at 4:15, or so, and it wasn't completely dark anymore.

I love that about the NW too. I'm ~still~ adjusting to the fact that the hottest part of the day is around 3:30 or something, instead of noonish like in SoCal.

That's funny because I don't think that ever really registered with me, but you're totally right. Noon sucked in Fontana in summer, but here it's still chilly till later.
