I'm still struggling with my job. I'm nowhere near the level of competency that I should be. I really underestimated the difficulty of it as well as my own lack of motivation. I feel terrified someone is going to notice that I'm still trying to "fake it 'til I make it" and tell me to hit the road. The job market here is dismal. One of my former ( Read more... ) -

Good ol' xmas is just about here.
I'm pumping xmas music directly into my brain to keep my holiday cheer intact.

vacation update
I'm under the influence of too little sleep, too much anxiety and an overdue bout of depression on the horizon.
Angela, Owen and I drove all day yesterday. Seriously. ALL. DAY.
Owen started getting sick with a snotty nose and congestion the night before we left. Angela got a ticket while flying driving through Grant's Pass though. That sucked ( Read more... ) -
holidays
So, it's the holiday season.
Great.
I'm turning into a such grinch and I hate it. I want Owen to really enjoy the holidays like I did, but I feel like I'm so stressed out about money and life in general lately, that I'm having a hard time enjoying myself.

I got stung by a couple yellowjackets yesterday while planting some bubls. Apparently, I disturbed an underground nest and I got stung first on the back of my left arm near my armpit. Then, after finishing up, I was just standing there, about 5 or 6 feet away when I got stung right on the forehead through my beanie. Little bastards. The one on ( Read more... ) -

I haven't gone to any other Al-Anon meetings since the one. It's not that I don't want to, but "stuff" keeps coming up. I suspect it means I haven't given it a high enough priority. I suck at that ( Read more... )
